The GMHA MATRIX Leadership Accelerator Council is a two-year global leadership programme designed to support emerging professionals who are committed to shaping the future of metabolic health.
MATRIX brings together a diverse international cohort across clinical medicine, research, public health, policy, advocacy and implementation — creating opportunities to learn, lead, collaborate and translate ideas into meaningful impact.

The 2026–2028 MATRIX cohort brings together professionals from across regions and disciplines who share a commitment to advancing metabolic health through collaboration, innovation and leadership.
The cohort will participate in a structured two-year journey combining leadership development, mentorship, global engagement and collaborative impact initiatives.

What is MATRIX?
MATRIX is GMHA’s global leadership accelerator for emerging leaders in metabolic health.

The MATRIX Journey

Over two years, MATRIX members will engage in a series of leadership and professional development experiences designed to strengthen both individual capability and collective impact.
Leadership Masterclasses
Focused sessions with experienced global leaders from medicine, public health, policy, academia, advocacy, business and related fields.
MATRIX Catalyst Forums
Interactive discussions designed to challenge thinking, exchange perspectives and explore emerging issues in metabolic health.
Mentorship & Global Exposure
Opportunities to engage with senior leaders across the GMHA network and beyond.
Collaborative Impact Projects
Members will work together on initiatives that translate ideas and evidence into practical outputs and measurable impact.
Global Engagement
Participation in selected GMHA programmes, consultations, meetings and international platforms.
LEAD THE CHANGE
A flagship immersive leadership experience designed to help professionals develop the skills required to lead people, influence systems and create change. The programme will focus on: Leadership • Communication • Influence • Collaboration • Decision-making • Change The MATRIX Leadership Experience will bring together emerging professionals and established global leaders in a highly interactive environment combining practical learning, peer exchange and real-world leadership challenges.
